Actually the versions you want have been aired since the 90's on various channels. The infamous "Space Diamonds" in replace of "Space Coke" for Next Movie right?

Last I heard was December 2003. Both aired on Comedy Central. Your the first to tell me it aired on TV in the 1990's.

I've seen both on different channels throughout the 90's. I remember USA Network aired both. TBS aired Born In East LA before.

Born In East L.A. used to air on KTLA 5 here in Los Angeles frequently in the early 90’s. I would love to see that again.

I honestly hated the TV version ending of Born In East LA with them being kidnapped.
