TV writer and producer Steven Bochco passed away yesterday at age 74.
Without him we wouldn't have many nice things on tv: his shows, the influence he had, and the authors he took under his wings.

RIP Steven, and thanks.

A real innovator: I never got into Hill Street Blues when it was one, but I sure loved NYPD Blue and Murder: One.

RIP Mr. Bochco.

Steven co-wrote one of my favorite scifi films - Silent Running.

Big fan of these two. He had quite a range.

A certain TV program named "Capitol Critters" immediately came to my mind upon learning of this Steven Bochco having died due to his being part of its production and due to my liked it ever since the time in which it was being broadcast by the Cartoon Network in a regular basis.

Part I don't like about this is we will never see an LA Law reboot. Chances of seeing one will go out the window
