With Easter Sunday a day away here's a Easter cartoon that is just as fun to watch every year. In 1971 Rankin Bass debuted Here Comes Peter Cottontail that was based on the popular Easter song of the same name and was a popular animated TV cartoon special every year but hasn't seen on TV since. After the success of the popular Christmas specials Rankin Bass knew that an Easter cartoon would work wonders in TV. It would sure be cool if Here Comes Peter Cottontail would be shown on TV again because it was a cute Easter cartoon
