David Blaine is awesome, Yes he may act nutz but I got total respect for the guy. He does magic tricks and stunts. Just got done watching the ending of him standing on the pole for 35 hours then jumping 80 feet onto 12 feet of Boxes. David Blaine is awesome but I sure hope he stops all these crazy things, future ones ive heard include Drowning in a pool then being brought back to life, and hanging upside down off a platform or somethin way off the ground.... I got total respect for the dude but hes taking it a bit to far.

ok well...hes an amaaaaaaaazing magician...but these stunts he's doing are crazy!!!! i mean...he could have easily died last night jumping or wen he was standing in an ice cube for like....4 days....but wuteva floats his boat ;)

Yea the Leviatating tricks he does are awesome.

Is the David Blaine special going to be on TV? I think his illusions are incredible, especially his levitational trick!!! :wave:

I don't think he is a fake, either. His stunts are too amazing to be fake.:)

I know this is an old post, but I had to share this anyway. This week in my psychology class someone brought a tape of how David Blaine does the levitation. Did you know that the way he gets so high off the ground is because he is lifted on a rope or cord of some sort to make him look like he's off the ground? This was really terrible for my psych class to see because we are all open minded about the supernatural. We all actually really thought that he was levitating before. I never want to see that show on TLC ever again.

I try to ignore this man. I think he's an idiot.

In my opinion there is no such thing as real magic..... just illusions.

I've never heard of David Blaine till now. From what I can tell, I should probaly get to know the guy cause I like stuff like that.

I hear that the leviating trick is the only one he did that on though. The others aren't like that from what I've read. It's a shame he did that, but for the others I've read that those are real illusions/magic tricks and not stuff that they faked.

Yea Im a big fan of him but yea..... him doing that is sad.... though at the beggining of street magic when he does the levitation and gets off only a little off the ground... hes using no ropes or anything there... thats just a trick that makes it look like ur going off the ground... and yea for the rest... as far as I know... none of his others were messed with like that...

BTW all..... For those of you who are a fan of him.... Next sunday(22nd) at 2PM... His Special Magic Man will be shown on ABC Family.... Check ur local listings just to make sure on the correct time if you are planning on watching it....
