Becky and Mark relationship I enjoy more than Darlene and David's because the fact that they were basically opposites Becky Straight As, loved school wasn't rebellious till Mark came along. Mark bad boy, disrespectful towards dan and roseanne but cared alot about Becky.They went through a break-up which made them realize they needed to be more understanding of one another.
They eloped to be together, Mark's idea to not wanting to leave her behind. In Becky Howser M.D When Becky and Mark are discussing about Becky wanting to go to college. Mark mentiones that It would have taken them 4 more years to get to where they are. Which shows that Mark would have waited for Becky to finish college if they weren't already married.

Some fans say that Becky didn't put that much effort in their relationship after they eloped. Wrong I like to think back to the season 8 episodes with Lecy as Becky. She brought back the reasons why I loved Becky and Mark as a couple. Yeah they don't have much in common, but they were content with their lives and each other. Darlene always treated David like dog poop, and he was too much of a wimp to stick up for himself.

That's one thing I hated about their relationship. Darlene saw how David's mom treated him and yet she treated him almost the same way. Not that abusive but putting him down sometimes is something I hated.
