So whenever Saved By The Bell airs on MeTV, how come the Good Morning Miss Bliss TV show isn’t part of the package today?

MeTV has Good Morning Miss Bliss too and has aired it before.

They do?! I’ve never even seen the individual show before on there.

They don't air it on MTV2 but anytime I've seen Miss Bliss it was under the guise of Saved by The Bell and not Good Morning, Miss Bliss.

Miss Bliss was a Disney show. NBC picked the series up for Saturday mornings, and moved them to Bayside California. Why the Principal moved to California was never explained. This is why only selected episodes of Bliss were repackaged with Bell in syndication.

To me, the best Miss Bliss episode was when Screech blew away the school bully by not laughing at him when he admitted to not being able to read. I clapped the first time that I heard Screech tell the boy that it isn't funny.

God bless you always!!!

The 13 Good Morning Miss Bliss episodes from Disney were eventually added to the SBTB syndication package, with new intros, as flashbacks.

I know MeTV has shown at least some of them before, but I'm guessing they have dropped those episodes. They certainly don't air SBTB episodes in any kind of order.

I think that Saved by the Bell was merely a "soft-reboot" of Good Morning, Miss Bliss. What I mean is that it could (using broad strokes) take place in the same continuity as GMMB, but it was for all intents and purposes, really its own thing.

I doubt that most people even knew that SBTB was originally GMMB (since The Disney Channel wasn't widely available at the time) and that show's existence until they were repackaged with SBTB for syndication.

I suppose that as long as you ignore several discrepancies like how Zack, Screech, Lisa, and Mr. Belding moved from Indiana to California, it could be looked at as a prequel to SBTB.

On Netflix, the GMMB episodes are repackaged as SBTB, similar to how they were in syndication in the 1990s... with the exception that the "Zack intros" appear to be missing (at least, I haven't seen any yet). GMMB is packaged as the first season of SBTB, and just listed as "Season 1" in Netflix's list of episodes. I appreciate this, as I didn't have to track down the episodes using alternate methods. I do wonder if those Zach intros are anywhere.

MeTV does occasionally air the Miss Bliss episodes, and IFC, I believe, always airs them whenever is finishes cycling through the whole show and the College Years.
