Season 3 is here, direct from Warner Archive.. Pressed discs, oh yeah! Went straight to "Just Desserts", clocking in at 24:21.

For the interested, it retains the Lorimar-Telepictures logo.. however!!-- The modern 4-note WB corporate logo is abruptly pasted on, cutting into it a little.

Next to an original broadcast, nothing seems missing except a mid show bumper with the show name. Anyone find any content missing anywhere?

Hoping the other episodes are complete.

Just got my copy today in the mail. I'll be digging into the episodes tonight. I am interested in seeing how the picture quality is too along side unedited/edited episodes. Glad to have gotten pressed discs.

I noticed that Amazon has it for sale but their copies aren't pressed. I learned that the hard way when I bought a season of Growing Pains from them and PQ was awful.

Cool! Nice they finally released season 3! Is Season 3 in HD too? Just like hulu version?

Great picture quality! Episodes seem unedited too....running over 24 minutes.

At almost $40 a season, they really should consider a more secure shipping method. My DVD case for season 3 was crushed at the top. I thought about sending it back but I didn't.

The price on WBShop.com (direct from Warner Archive) is $29.99 plus tax and shipping...brings the total to $37.43.

I like ordering direct from them that way I know I'm getting pressed DVDs.

Pressed dvds are like the ones you'd find at Walmart or any normal store.

If you order these Manufacture on Demand (MOD) sets from anywhere but direct from the source, chances are you won't receive pressed discs.

Basically, pressed DVDs are better quality.

You can tell what you have by following this:
Pressed DVDs are silver in color on the play side
Non-pressed DVDs are purple.

Ut oh---just found a boo boo on the season 3 set.

The opening credits theme song is missing from "Sexual Harassment in Chicago".

This is just plain odd.

^They replied to my email with a FedEx shipping label to send it back for a replacement. Hopefully it'll be corrected.

^^^ If my copy ends up like that when I finally have it, it won't bother me, just as long as the episodes are there in their entirety.

But my set has the same missing opening credits for that episode. I was hoping if I went ahead and ordered from WBA, and get the pressed discs, I wouldn't have that issue. But it looks like I still would.

Also, on the disc, Harassment is spelled with 2 R's.

Did you contact Amazon about the problem or would they even be able to fix it?

I've tried contacting WA again, so far no response. They'll probably send a FedEx return label for me to send back my copy and then send me another defected set. They didn't even read my email about the actual problem, they just assumed it was a broken set.

Got a response from them with NO explanation as to why the mishap happened or if they were even aware of it or if it's been fixed. All I got was a FedEx return label and a "sorry your DVD was damaged" form letter.

I'm just calling them later today so they HAVE to hear the actual complaint. I'm tired of this impersonal bull.

Avoid Amazon when MOD are concerned. You won't get pressed DVDs. I always get mine directly from WB but made the mistake one time and tried saving money and got one of the season releases of Growing Pains with Amazon. Bad mistake...the DVDs weren't pressed and the picture quality looked awful. I never did it again.

Me too! Hopefully the theme song is intact on all episodes, unlike the season 3 set.

Contacted WA today and talked to someone about the missing theme song problem on the season 3 set...

To make a long story short, he told me not to return my set again because I'd probably receive another defect set. He told me to call back in about a month to see if the problem had been corrected and that he made a note of the problem for the research team to look into it.

So does amazon disclose their DVDs aren’t pressed? I want to get this set and they have it on sale for $19.99, but don’t want to end up with MOD discs. Has anyone got the set recently from amazon?
