Is the "Black Lady Therapist" the new "Black Best Friend"? Aisha Harris says it "does seem a bit peculiar" that shows like Broad City, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and Grace and Frankie all have black female therapists. "If you watch enough shows with dysfunctional protagonists who get to the point of seeking help, you might notice that a lot of familiar black female character actors are popping up in roles that require they wield a notepad and pen while listening intently to other peoples’ problems. And with rare exception, their patients are usually white and at least moderately affluent," she says.

Not exactly on-topic, but I've noticed that suddenly everyone in drug company ads has a female doctor. ("I asked my doctor, and she said...") Can you say, "pandering?"

To many TMC post have killed the board.

I remember when you were over at IMDB.

Now that's gone along with your Michael Jackson face.

Lots of flash and no facts.

Plenty of re-writes on wiki.

Wayyyyyy to many bad links.

Seriously, very bad links.

whois.sc tracks most of your material to so-called bloggers in India who haven't even set foot in the U.S.

Why mash and create such nonsense??

How much is Adsense paying you>?

PM me...I want in on your ca$h.

Just put him on ignore like I did. I got tired of the crap.

The only problem is the threads still show up on the main page.

I still think something needs to be done to rid the spam.

Nobody ever asks "What's with TV's White Lady Therapist" or "What's with TV's White Man Therapist"

I don't see any issue here. I think TMC is looking for issues where there is no issue to be had.

He's not looking for ANY issues. He's just blindly posting links. SPAM!

The worst is the Happy Birthday messages to dead celebrities. As if they are celebrating.

What I don't understand is why his posts are almost 100% outsourced. I thought the site was about sitcom discussion between members, not reading the words of someone else.

Admittedly I've found some of his linked articles to be interesting but it would be nice if he would join in and actually speak for himself.

I've definitely said that one before. Exactly how long does a celebrity have to be dead before he stops wishing them a happy birthday?

Many sites have posters like him who have no lives and think they win some kind of mythical prize for a high post count.

He sent me a private message asking “What’s wrong with celebrating the birthdays of dead celebrities.” This is worthy of a public response.

What’s wrong with it is that you spam these boards with TONS of messages like this. The point of these boards is to facilitate discussions. Happy Birthday To Dead Celebrity messages don’t do that. They just clutter the boards.

I've gotten some of his PM's too, but it turns out he didn't really write them, they were just cut and pasted PM's from another website.

I've gotten a PM too regarding my recent criticism of him on another thread. It's really unfortunate but he fails to realize that people are turned off by his spam bot behavior. He could at least put some thought into his posts rather than just blindly copying and pasting it from another website to raise his post counts and then get paid for it. It's just getting really old and it needs to end.
