Season 1 of Stranger Things featured 182 incidents of tobacco use, while The Walking Dead came in at No. 2 with 94 scenes of characters using tobacco, according to a study from the antismoking group Truth Initiative. In total, Netflix had 319 "tobacco incidents," more than any cable or broadcast network. Netflix ranked third through sixth, with Orange Is the New Black, House of Cards, Fuller House and Making a Murderer each showing numerous scenes of tobacco use. The Truth Initiative also found that 20 instances of tobacco use on Modern Family. Fuller House is the only show featuring tobacco use that's rated TV-Y7, for kids over the age of 7.
