Does anyone know whether MASH will ever be picked up by either TV Land or Nick at Nite? It's not on in our area any more (hasn't been in almost 10 years).

My wife loves this show, and it's just not on any more around here. It was played on what is now a FOX affiliate way back when, but was taken off almost 10 years ago.

It'd be nice if TV Land or N@N would pick it up, especially since they're showing The Cosby Show, Family Ties and other much newer shows.

Any word on this would be appreciated! Thanks!

It appears that "M*A*S*H" has found a home on FOX's cable channel FX, which runs the show a few times a day.

It seems unlikely that FOX will let the show run in syndication on any other network.

I'm sorry that you can't see the reruns...

That's the problem with these new cable channels, they buy the rights to show someting in reruns (like M*A*S*H on FX or Star Trek - The Next Generation on TNN) but if your cable comapny doesn't carry that station, you're out of the loop.

It seems nowadays that local stations are only interested in showing current sitcoms, while older shows are featured on cable channels that might not be available in all markets...

MASH is also on UPN, I don't know if you get that station but I have seen it on that one a lot.

The only other network I know that carries "MASH" is FOX5, WNYW the FOX affiliate here in the New York area. They usually run an epidoe on the weekends when they need to fill a half hour before a game.

If you have a satellite dish you might try tuning in PRIME here in Canada which runs M*A*S*H regularly. Other than that keep an eye on any independent stations ( not affiliated with any network) in your area and M*A*S*H is bound to turn up there sooner or later.:wave:
