I lived in Northern NJ until 2006. I got the New York stations. I remember one of the local stations showed I Love Lucy reruns until 1998 or 1999 or 2000. I can't remember. Those episodes were edited moreso than Hallmark channel but they edited out some of the "boring" footage unlike Hallmark which edited out some of the "non-boring" footage.

Now, I know that two stations in Los Angeles show Lucy. I think it is the Fox station and the My Network TV station. What I remember what my local station edited out was the scene in "Lucy & Bob Hope" where Lucy tried to bribe the security guy to get into the locker room that Bob was in. Also, in "The Handcuffs" they edited out the first few seconds where the locksmith is in the Ricardo apartment by immediately jumping to the moment that the Ricardos enter the living room.

My question is do all the local tv stations that show Lucy (not including the ones affiliated with the Decades channel since MeTV doesn't show I Love Lucy anymore) have the same edits? Just curious.
