I recently came across the entire series of this show online, I thought the episodes were from the Lifetime broadcasts from the early 2000s but these episodes are original airings from Living TV. All episodes run between 23 to 25 minutes. Pretty cool find!

Could you give us more details on the website you bought them on, and how much they cost? I have a copy too, but the quality is poor, and they just look like they were recorded on someone's VCR back when they originally aired.

Thanks for any info you can provide.

We may very well have the same set. The quality is not the best but is not terrible either. It is about a 7 out of 10. It is on 2 discs.

I bought this one from Ebay for 26 dollars.

Ebay? Can people do that? I wouldn't have thought you could sell "homemade" DVDs of series that are not available on DVD. iOffer, yes, but I'm surprised to hear you can do this on Ebay.

Mine are from "Classic DVD World" They still have them, but they're custom made when you order them.

I just noticed they have the entire St. Elsewhere series too. But expensive! :(

***people who were savvy enough to record an entire series on their VCR's back then, can make copies onto DVD's and sell them. As far as I know, it's not illegal. At least I hope not.

I don't think they are allowed to sell recorded material on Ebay but I'm not going to blow the whistle because there items aren't likely to resurface elsewhere. It is a shame that studios aren't releasing some of the really classic good shows. I was shocked to see a One Day at a Time Complete Series release last year though.

They could have released Golden Palace with the Golden Girls or even made a MOD set, because there is a market for lesser known spin off as well. We just got Women of the House on DVD so let's see The Golden Palace officially on DVD as well.

Also The Ropers and Three's a Crowd should be released,at least as MOD's.

True, if Women of the House has been released on DVD, anything can be released on DVD, lol (I'm not saying it's a bad show, just that you wuold never expect to get a DVD release since it's never been spoken of since it first aired...and even then it didn't get much attention).
