im doing a research paper for m y english class on lucille ball and i remember seeing on a web site a while back that when she was younger her grademother would tie her up in the yard well if anyone knows anything about it or of a web site or book that varifys this please help...

Yes it was the book called "Love Lucy"I read a few pages and she would tie her up 2 the clothes line and she would cry 2 be freed so the book says!

It was her mother, not her grandmother. She did it so she wouldn't run all over town.

I know this is of no use now..but it was her mom Dede who would tie her up to a clothes linein the back yard and as the story goes...Lucy would con the mail man or milk man that she some how got caught up in this silly clothes line and he would untie her then she would take off and Dede would have to frantically search the neighborhood for her.:D
