Sir Roger Bannister, runner of the first sub-four minute mile, has died peacefully at his home in Oxford, aged 88. On May 6, 1954 he broke the nine-year long world record to run 3 minutes 59.4 seconds. https://youtu.be/wTXoTnp_5sI
