I noticed a few inconsistencies in this one. First why didn’t June mention that she was captain of the basketball team when she was in boarding school when Beaver was writing about his mother. All she said was that she won a swimming cap.

Also Beaver said Mr. Willett kicked him out of glee club when he tried out. He said his voice was too high to sing with boys and too low to sing with girls. In the next episode Beaver is singing soprano in the glee club. Also a teacher and Miss Landers are discussing the play and the teacher mentions how Gilbert’s father was always laughing when he was in school. The teacher didn’t look old enough to be his teacher plus Mr. Gates was a flute player who traveled.

Beaver asks Wally what it’s like to kiss a girl. It seems Wally was too antiseptic to kiss girls. When Marlene kisses Wally he is mortified. I don’t think Wally ever kissed Julie or Mary Ellen.

We hear new, and sometimes conflicting, things about W&J in varying episodes. I think we heard that Ward was almost a commercial artist in the poster episode, and in a later episode directly contradictory commentary (I forget exactly what episode or the exact comment).

Mr. Gates must have settled down, since Gilbert didn't move for several seasons.

In another post I mentioned we never saw Penny's brother again, after season 3, but in the poster episode, she mentioned him.

Beaver needs to give up on music. Willett also kicked him out of the orch. when he had trouble with the sax (???, or some instrument).

A couple of things Wally could have said to Beaver re kissin': "Ask Dad." or "You'll find out soon enough."

Judging by the "smidge of a smudge" on the nose scene, Wally and Julie probably made do with rubbing noses.

LOL

I believe Ward is painting the picnic table yet again in Silent Treatment and Beaver says he’s great at painting and Ward says art wasn’t one of his talents.
