Bill Cosby's daughter, Ensa, who steadfastly supported her dad through his legal troubles, has died ... TMZ (http://www.tmz.com/2018/02/26/bill-cosby-daughter-ensa-dead-dies/) has learned.

The 44-year-old died Friday night in Massachusetts ... sources tell TMZ.

Ensa was always in her dad's corner, writing last year (http://thejasminebrand.com/2018/02/26/bill-cosbys-44-year-old-daughter-dies-condolences/#ixzz58FM7Os70), "My father has been publicly lynched in the media and my family, my young daughter, my young niece and nephew have had to stand helplessly by and watch the double standard or pretending to protect the rights of some but ignoring the rights of others."

She went on to say ... "I strongly believe my father is innocent of the crimes alleged against him and I believe that racism has played a big role in all aspects of this scandal."

The cause of death is unknown, although we're told she had significant medical issues in the past. We're told she had kidney issues and possibly was in line for a transplant.

This is not the first of Cosby's children to die. Ennis Cosby was murdered in 1997 by an 18-year-old in a failed robbery attempt.

BTW ... Ensa appeared in a season 6 episode of "The Cosby Show."

But insiders revealed that Camille (https://radaronline.com/videos/bill-cosby-sexual-assault-trial-racism-audio-sirius-interview), 73, is convinced the stress of her husband’s endless sexual scandals played a big role in the collapse of Ensa’s fragile health.

On her deathbed, Ensa begged her cheating dad not to “disappoint Mom anymore,” according to one family insider.

“She was devastated by the beating her family took in the public eye,” a source said. “She was especially distressed at the way it made her mother suffer.”

Despite Ensa’s support, Bill — who faces a second assault trial in April — reacted coldly when she suffered a heart scare two years ago.

“He didn’t even go to the hospital,” an insider said. “He was convinced her problems were drug-related (https://radaronline.com/photos/ensa-cosby-dead-dar-secret-past-drugs-abuse-heartbreak) and felt she needed to beat them on her own.”

But as Camille watched her daughter die, her anger at 80-year-old Bill boiled over, sources said.

“Ensa’s death was the final straw. Camille’s taking what’s left of Bill’s dwindling $400 million fortune and heading out the door!”
