I don't hate it and I haven't seen enough of "The Big Bang Theory".

But that's my choice.

I honestly think "Young Sheldon" is the "Fraiser' of the 2010's.

A lower rated (while successful) program that ultimately eclipses it's predecessor.

And without much fanfare...

In this case, I doubt "Young Sheldon" will receive any awards. But it's just so much more enjoyable and easier to stomach.

not even getting into the countless reality dreck (While reality and game shows are both unscripted, I do not consider them the same at all.) For this I will list the rare good reality shows that are actually worth watching: Superhuman, Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction, Outrageous 911, Grease: You're the One that I Want, Dogs in the City, Candid Camera, The Marriage Ref, Extreme Cheapskates.

I thought I would like "Game of Thrones" because I'm a fan of most fantasy. But I somehow never managed to catch more than one episode or two of it, and I hardly cared for what I saw. It seems to be mostly about cramming in as much sex, blood and violence as possible into one show. And that is just not my thing. But it seems like other people see it as one of the best TV shows ever. Go figure...

My father hated Carol Burnett and thought her show was the biggest dreck ever on television. This was back in the 1970's with only three choices and sometimes we would watch it and he didn't like her comedy for some reason. We and I also never watched Dallas and probably a lot of shows.

A friend told me once that his father hated MASH because he thought it insulted the military he served, especially Klinger.

There are many top rated shows from now and the past I could never get into. I have only seen one episode of Friends. I have rarely seen Frasier, although I used to love Cheers. I watch almost nothing new on television, so I don't know really what is popular now and there are so many choices, it really doesn't matter.

i wnjoy young sheldon but i think that its days as a hit show will be short lived because as its young actors grow older it will most likely morph into a clone/rehash of the big bang theory

I also forgot to mention Cheers. Overrated garbage! Seinfeld too.

How I Met Your Mother- I loathe this show SO much
The Wonder Years- I didn't grow up in the 60s so it had no nostalgic value to me and it was too dramatic.
