I watched this last night for the first time in years. I thought the dream sequences, which can sometimes feel like cheap cop-outs by sitcom writers, were especially well-done with LOL moments.
Eddie Applegate played the brutish husband in the second sequence especially well. It was clever how the writers used the exact same dialogue in both dreams, but the characters put such a nasty spin on it in the latter one. Patty's snarkiness also reminded me of her future turn in Valley of the Dolls.
