It's from the fifth season (http://www.tv.com/shows/too-close-for-comfort/episodes/). In it, after Henry's father dies he arts getting concerned about his own funeral. He soon realizes he doesn't have many friends except Herb. Henry then invites Herb over to talk about it and says he has 25 to 30 years left to live! The theme of that episode was that Henry realized that he was NOT alone.
This episode was first broadcast roughly a year and a half before Ted Knight passed away from cancer. So in some respects, he through Henry Rush may have foretold his own death. Even more unsettling is that in I believe the 20th episode of Season 5, Ted also uttered a remark foretelling of his death, to paraphrase: "I'll just enjoy my life, or what's left of it."

Another creepy episode is from season 6 where Henry wants to rest all day in bed but the housekeeper thinks he's dead & everyone else thinks he's in bed because he's sick!
He keeps denying he's sick but in REALITY he was very sick & that episode aired only about 2 months before his death!
Watching (https://www.directv.com/tv/Too-Close-for-Comfort-SWhiYnMyR1RlOE09) this series (http://www0.123hulu.bz/film/too-close-for-comfort-season-1.html) again on Logo, I've noticed that there have been several incidences (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Too_Close_for_Comfort_episodes), where the subject of Henry's death is touched upon. Like there was an episode from the third season, in which Henry is pressured to buy more life insurance and to take a physical. At the end of the episode, Henry tells Muriel that his doctor told him that he could live to be 90 (Ted Knight (https://cdnc.ucr.edu/cgi-bin/cdnc?a=d&d=DS19860827.2.23) was 62 (https://www.upi.com/Archives/1986/08/27/Actor-Ted-Knight-dies/9439525499200/) when he died (https://www.upi.com/Archives/1986/08/26/Ted-Knight-dies-of-cancer/1240525412800/)) as long as he laid off the fatty foods.

I know! Bizarre & kinda creepy isn't it? But I really doubt either Knight or the cast thought he would only live another 3 years!
It seems he beat cancer once before I don't see a SINGLE episode in all 6 seasons where he looks sick! Maybe it's because he was such a good actor.
