This was a character that was originally only supposed to be on for about 2 episodes and ended up in about 5 of the 8 that they did on that season.

I was playing a Republican and I had never played a Republican before. It was very interesting, especially when I went head-to-head with Jeff Daniels. Aaron Sorkin's writing is all on the page and I loved it because it makes you super precise and succinct which I am not in my real life.
