I haven't had cable or satellite since 2006, so for me, it's only DVDs. Usually 2 shows at night before bed and 8 episodes each on Sat and Sun.

I don't get any of the good channels here because they are illegal, so I will happily make do with these alternatives:

10:00 am The Bob Newhart Show (CHCH)
10:30 I Dream Of Jeannie (CHCH)
11:00 Newhart (CHCH)

1:30/2:00 pm The Andy Griffith Show (Tuesdays)/The Lucy Show (Wed.)/Ozzie and Harriet (Thurs.) (Yes TV)
2:30 The Beverly Hillbillies (Yes TV)

4:00 Batman (CHCH)
4:30 Bewitched (CHCH)
5:00 The Monkees (CHCH)
5:30 Mary Tyler Moore (CHCH)

It's not much, but it's still very good compared to what we've had up here recently.

Depending on my work schedule and / or what else I have to do that day and if I am up early enough etc.

7:00- Hazel - Antenna
7:30 -My three Sons - METV
8:00-9:00 - Leave it to Beaver - METV
9:00-10:00- Perry Mason -METV
10:00- Alice - Antenna

Than I usually switch around channels and look for the Nanny which comes on LOGO and COZI or other shows that catch my interest. Sometimes I watch Welcome back Kotter on Antenna or Diagnosis Murder on METV or I watch what is on IDTV crime channel .

1:00 - Gimme a break - Antenna

Than the same thing I just switch around and see what captures my interest between IDTV, COZI and LOGO! Sometimes I stay on Antenna. METV Blah , by than with the Westerns LOL!

Between 5:30-7:00 - Soap, Benson and Wings

Than after that just stick with IDTV or Destination America (the haunting /ghost story channel ) sometimes I'll watch Coach at 8:00!

I don't watch all of these every day but here are the stations I like most.

GSN
$25,000 Pyramid 10AM hour
I also like Cash Cab, The Chase, and Millionaire but they aren't as much of a priority.

FOX- the complete series of The X-Files has been available on demand through them since December. It is by far my most watched show of 2018 so far. My FOX affiliate also airs uncut episodes of The Andy Griffith Show weekdays in the noon hour.

Hallmark Movies and Mysteries- they have a really good selection of shows with Psych, Monk, Matlock, Columbo, and Diagnosis Murder. I just wish Columbo would get better times. A regular afternoon slot would be nice, or 11AM right after the Pyramid hour.

Freeform- they air a lot of The Middle on afternoons/early evenings. also new episodes of Beyond

UP- Touched by an Angel, 7th Heaven, Gilmore Girls, and new episodes of Heartland return next week.

BBC America- Star Trek: Voyager and Star Trek: the Next Generation. They would be the perfect station to air Deep Space Nine with their other Treks.

TCM- great commercial free movie station

LAFF- Night Court

ION- Blue Bloods and the original Law Order. Plus I like their new Private Eyes original.

WE TV- Monk and the original Law and Order. terrible ads though, their reality originals are really trashy.

Hallmark- Their sister station is a lot better but at least Hallmark still airs 2 hours of The Middle in primetime. Frasier, I Love Lucy, and Cheers need taken out of graveyard slots and put at watchable times. And they made a big mistake getting rid of Home Improvement, nowhere else was airing it.

INSP- Matlock and The Waltons

TV Land- no it is not great like it used to be. But when they stay on the clock TV Land has a decent lineup from 4-10 with The Andy Griffith Show, M*A*S*H, and Everybody Loves Raymond.

WGN- M*A*S*H and Blue Bloods

ABC- this is the station with the most current shows I like. Designated Survivor, final season of The Middle, The Good Doctor, Kevin (Probably) Saves the World, Speechless, and the final season of Once Upon a Time.

CBS- new episodes of Blue Bloods, Scorpion, S.W.A.T., and NCIS. Ransom when summer comes and the Murphy Brown revival next season.

NBC- Season 2 of Timeless premieres in a few weeks.

CW- I don't care for any of their originals but my affiliate airs Seinfeld weeknights at 10:30 and 11:00.

AMC- not as good as TCM but will occasionally have a good movie like Airplane! the other day.

Antenna TV will be coming back to Fort Wayne sometime in April through my FOX affiliate this time. I just hope it gets put on Comcast if it is a .3 station. There should be room considering they carry 5 PBS stations, 2 of them exactly the same..

It's not much, but it's still very good compared to what we've had up here recently.
Canadian cable channels have never been very good to Classic TV Fans. Back in the '90s I recall Family Channel ran HAZEL, but only one episode per week from the second season. WTN had MTM and RHODA; same thing. Once weekly. It would take years to get through one cycle.

Later when they got MAUDE, they ran Seasons 1-3 but then jumped back to Episode 1. Wash, rinse, repeat. Prime did the same thing with BEWITCHED, PETTICOAT JUNCTION and ROSEANNE. They would run certain seasons into the ground, but ignore the rest. They never completed proper cycles of these shows. Very odd indeed.

And if a show hadn't been rerun constantly since the '80s, such as GILLIGAN'S ISLAND or ALL IN THE FAMILY--forget it. You need not get your hopes up of ever seeing MISTER ED, PATTY DUKE or DONNA REED on any of these Northern Retro stations. Thankfully, DVDs came along when they did.

TV how it was NOT meant to be! That credit crunch is awful and not how it should be!

Sunday nights I watch Touched by an Angel and the Honeymooners on MeTV unless Decades binge has something I like. Other than that, I just stick to DVDs.
