Ever since Friends joined Netflix's UK lineup late last year, some young British people have expressed dismay over some of the show's storylines (https://www.tvtattle.com/item/British-millennials-who-have-recently-been-exposed-to-Friends-are-shocked-at-how-problematic-it-is-ZGSKr2), which they've found to be transphobic, homophobic and sexist. LeBlanc recently weighed in on the controversy while promoting Top Gear for BBC. "I've heard those rumors too about people taking pot shots at Friends, but I don't want to get into that. I disagree with all that,” LeBlanc said. "On Top Gear, we tend to steer clear of any sort of political content, nothing too topical," he added. "On Friends, we steered clear of that kind of thing too. Friends was about themes that stand the test of time – trust, love, relationships, betrayal, family and things like that.”

I am going to have to agree with Matt here. I do not find anything offensive about "Friends".

It's not enough that some people are offended by today's shows, but now they have to go out of their way to find offensive content in old shows and movies.

Friends was not offensive -- if anything, it made the the six central characters look like dorks most of the time and they were usually the butt of the show's jokes.

But I guess some people have to be offended at something these days.

I don't get it myself, but whatever.
