I heard a rumor that this season might be the final season of The Amazing Race and CBS might cancel it and I would like to know if the rumor is true? Another thing I heard is that CBS was trying to replace Phil Keoghan with another host and Phil Keoghan was gonna quit being the host of The Amazing Race to focus on his family and writing books

I haven't heard anything official from CBS. I think the show will go on for a while longer. Phil K might leave, but just like TPIR the show will go on fine. This past season TAR had it's best ratings in 5 years. CBS usually does a good job sticking with what works. I think TAR will continue to air in between seasons of Survivor in January and I would not be surprised to see CBS bring back a summer season too.

TAR and Undercover Boss are like leftover spaghetti to CBS they will keep them around as long as the ratings are halfway ok because like leftover spaghetti it's easy to cook! Low cost to produce, low cost to cook spaghetti!

I also heard that new episodes for The Amazing Race have been delayed due to dispute that Phil Keoghan is having with CBS and according to my mom CBS wanted to give Phil Keoghan a better salary when they gave him a new contract but when Phil Keoghan wasn't happy with his new contract CBS threatened to replace Phil Keoghan with a new host and so it tells me that The Amazing Race's future is in limbo right now

What season is Amazing Race now? I remember being a kid and watching it. It's been years.... maybe Amazing Race has run its course?

I read (somewhere) that The Amazing Race will be back in January -- hope it's true because this is a favorite show and it has been off the air too too long!
