Barbara claims that she and Ernie were divorced, but they kissed, he showered in her apartment, and they went out to eat twice in a row. Ernie has no problem with her dating JJ,(The woman he still kisses) and is very friendly and welcoming towards JJ. Barbara and Ernie seemed to have an open marriage because they acted more like husband and wife rather than ex spouses.;)
