...ing the Florida school shooting

"In my last couple of posts, I’ve not suggested a single idea for new gun laws or background checks or even mental illness issues after the latest school murders in Florida," The Big Bang Theory star wrote on Instagram. "I only suggested change. And yet many folks were outraged and threatened and angered by only that."

Nondescript change, which isn't conversation as much as it is a glossy sitcom plot that sounds nice but resolves nothing... where've people heard that before? Like on "The Brady Bunch"...

Johnny himself openly states he's suggested nothing,

“In my last couple of posts, I’ve not suggested a single idea for new gun laws or background checks or even mental illness issues after the latest school murders in Florida. I only suggested change.

so where's the actual conversation apart from an oversimplified tokenistic phrase?!

I think there's miscommunication going on from all sides with this. But, again, it didn't help when he himself said he offered nothing - so of course people would get upset over that. Change involves saying and actually trying new ideas with a little detail and reasoning, or even any ideas or revisiting old ideas given a context that exists now that didn't exist back then? Nothing will change if nobody says any specifics. How can people getting upset over him be blamed when, yet again, Johhny says he suggested nothing.

That, and it's social media, people will go uppity over anything and nothing. Is he new to the venue?

Just wait for youtube news people to have a field day with him...

Disclaimer, I didn't read too much beyond the quoted part because I was already floored.
