There was never no explanation about what happened to Rachel's Place after Rachel left the show. Did she sell the place or did it go out of business? Why didn't she ask Eddie to take over the business? After all, he became in charge of the hot dog place.

I doubt that very much. No way.

Maybe Rachel got more committed with the restaurant, made enough money, and moved-out of The Winslow house.

And later she sold it...but if Family Matters is revamped and known as The Urkels...maybe we find-out Leroy's son took it over but kept the name.

Because Steve goes to work at Mighty Weenie and Laura landed the job that she got at Ferguson's, I am under the impression that maybe Rachel's place either went out of business or was sold.

Any of those ideas are great.

I believe Rachel brought the restaurant from Leroy after Leroy's Restaurant caught fire and so she decided to buy the building using the money Leroy had earned from the insurance he recieved from damages to Leroy's Restaurant and so Rachel decided to rebuild the restaurant and give it a fresh look and renamed it Rachel's Place. But it was never revealed in any Family Matters episode whatever happened to Rachel's Place so my guess is that Rachel went bankrupt and had to sell Rachel's Place to pay off her debts. I always liked the character Rachel on Family Matters because she reminded me of Disney's Princess Tiana from The Princess And The Frog because like Rachel Tiana was a waitress and owned a restaurant too

Rachel's Place is last seen in the cold open of the season 4 premiere but it looks to me like it might've been shot for season 3. Richie references she's at work once in season 4 so we can assume that she's at RP. Personally I like the idea of Judy working there, too bad she left around the time she was the same age Laura was when she started working there.
