I was disappointed with the last episode because the synopsis said she'd make a revelation to her parents, and her big revelation was that she was ready to lose her virginity, and I say big whoop. A lot of people feel that way eventually, except that they don't have metahuman abilities because this is reality, not the sci-fi/fantasy universe of DC Comics and their Super Hero shows. Telling them about her super human strength would be more fun to watch than telling them she's ready to have sex.
