Each year in television, one series draws the ire of enough critics to be deemed the worst show of the year (https://www.reddit.com/r/television/comments/7wffpo/the_worst_tv_show_of_every_year_since_2000/).

Since the turn of the century, the reviews aggregator Metacritic (http://www.metacritic.com/browse/tv/score/metascore/year/filtered?sort=desc&year_selected=2000) has compiled an annual list of the year's most poorly received TV show seasons by assigning scores based on their composite critical reception.

We selected the worst show from each year, starting with 2000. The resulting list includes Fox News' failed take on "The Daily Show," the Seth MacFarlane-produced sitcom "Dads," and ABC's "Marvel's Inhumans."

2000: "Tucker" (NBC, Season 1)

2001: "Big Brother" (CBS, Season 2)

2002: "Hidden Hills" (NBC, Season 1)

2003: "Luis" (Fox, Season 1)

2004: "Hawaii" (NBC, Season 1)

2005: "Category 7: The End of the World" (CBS, Miniseries)

2006: "The Game" (CW, Season 1)

2007: "The 1/2 Hour News Hour" (Fox News, Season 1)

2008: "Momma's Boys" (NBC, Season 1)

2009: "The Last Templar" (NBC, Miniseries)

I can't say that I can debate that I liked 'em either. Especially the fox news one. Gives me the chills just thinking about it. :D

The Game was alright, at least in the CW years although it wasn’t as good on BET. Still it was a decent show and don’t know why it’s on here. Only seen one or two episodes of Big Brother and never really got into it. Never even heard of the others and have no desire to see them.
