Scott Baio was a sitcom darling of the '70s and '80s, having starred in Happy Days, its spin-off, Joanie Loves Chachi, and Charles in Charge. He even had a brief resurgence in 2007 with the reality show, Scott Baio Is 45… And Single. But lately, Baio treads in much more controversial waters, waging Twitter wars, becoming a contentious political pundit, and being on the receiving end of some extremely ugly accusations by a former costar. How did he go from being a beloved TV star to one of America's most divisive pop culture personalities? This is the shady side of Scott Baio.

Baio falls somewhere in between Sainthood and the coming of Satan -- it's more than a little unfortunate that his reputation has been destroyed without a trial, without lie detector results, without tangible evidence...

I can't be the only one who's getting tired of the daily "who's a sex fiend / monster" outings. Some of these accusers are going to find out via countersuit that you'd better have proof if you're going to pursue these matters. I should also mention that both the accusations and the denials should be saved for the courtroom where they belong.

Given the recent news over his two former Charles In Charge co-stars, (one being his former lover/girlfriend) allegations against him and the whole Erin Moran awful views he said of her (who was also another former co-star and girlfriend-his actual "first")....plus over the years controversy that rings a sick sense of hatred coming from him and his wife.

I like to dig deeper (https://www.lipstickalley.com/threads/whats-really-up-with-scott-baio.1477329/) on what is really up with him?

Here are some of the clues:
From the June 12th US Weekly:

HAPPY DAYS' SCOTT BAIO IS A REAL LIFE ROMEO

"In 1989 [really 1990-1993] he hooked up with Pamela Anderson who'd just arrived from her native Canada for her first Playboy layout. "She's no picnic," he says. "In my opinion, she's difficult to deal with." They broke up. But he rebounded with blond siren Nicolette Sheridan. "She's beautiful, smart, funny and tough, tough, tough," he says. "She's a fun human being, but too much work."
Then there was Denise Richards, the star of the recent James Bond movie The World Is Not Enough. "I met her at a party about three or four years ago," he says. "She's stunning and nice but too goal oriented for me." And Beverly D'Angelo? "The most fun person ever," he says. "She can have a good time in a sewer. But I think she was a tiny bit too old in terms of what I needed."
To satisfy those needs, Baio started making the Playboy Mansion his home away from home in 1984. "It's like going into a candy store and all your favorite candy is there," he says. "But you have to figure out how to get it." Baio admits he isn't always successful. " -BY TODD GOLD

*NOTE: The whole time he never mentions Victoria Rowell. Listen closely to what he does say, regarding how he wasn't having "any fun". Watch & Listen @1:17-2:47:
