In 1986 after being a backup singer for many R&B singers Vesta Williams made her debut with the hit Once Bitten Twice Shy that made her a huge star in the 80's music scene. After scoring a hit in 1988 with the song Congratulations Vesta Williams didn't return to the music scene until 1998 when she released her comeback album Relationships after the releases of her 1991 album and her 1993 album. It's a surprise that Vesta Williams is no longer living because she really set the standard for new singers that become huge in the R&B market today
