For me, it's As The World Turns and Guiding Light. I also miss Another World.

The only one I ever really got into on the list was Guiding Light , so I picked that one. I used to watch Secret Storm with my Mom and Grandma when I was real young and was sad when it went off the air.:(

You could've also picked other. I should've mentioned that you can pick more than one.

Oh yeah, it was late last night when I voted/posted! I didn't notice the "other" choice!! :)

I voted for the Edge of Night. I loved that show. My runner-up would easily be "Dark Shadows", I almost voted "other" for DS but it was probably the least soapy soap. "Edge" was about 50% soap and 50% crime drama.

Oh yeah, add Dark Shadows to my list!

What about Dallas?? You should've had an option for Dallas!

Dallas is a primetime drama, not a soap opera. Soap operas are shows that air 5 days a week with a storyline lasting weeks, months, and years.

One soap, besides the obvious All My Children, I miss is Spyder Games from MTV. That one was pretty good. It had a few actors from Sunset Beach in it. I was bummed when MTV canceled it so soon after its initial 13 week start.

Who here remembers Dark Shadows??

It was before my time in the 60s but I heard someone talk about it on the radio & she said there's never been a soap opera like it before or since because it's a soap with spooky undertones.

Anyone know about it or seen it?

Guiding Light was the one soap I watched with my Mom so it will always hold a special place for me. Stopped watching after Michael Zaslow was fired though. My Mom watched Secret Storm too. I was so young then. The only thing I remember of it was the opening waves. lol

Probably One Life To Live since I met the cast twice; including the wonderful Kathy Brier and the very missed Nathaniel Marston.

That's primetime. I was only going with daytime soaps. That's also why there's the "other" option.
