I plan on buying this!

Amazon streams the first season PBS/NET season, which was rarely rerun after its original run because it was in black and white. PBS reruns in the 70s and 80s always started with the first color season from 1969, and then even those were removed from circulation in the early 1990s. Those original episodes, from 1968-1975, are the ones I’m most interested in. I’m less interested from the shows taped after the series was revived in 1979.

Has it been released anywhere exactly what episodes will be on this set?

I'm hoping these episodes aren't on the set I already have (got on ioffer). The set I have included 135 episodes.

I picked up a sheet of the new Mister Rogers postage stamps today! I got the only sheet my PO had! I got it framed for safe-keeping.

I used to watch the Mister Rogers show on TV when I was a kid, but to have episodes now on DVD, no I don't think so, I'd rather it remain a memory.

Did anybody get this set?

According to someone on Home Theater Forum, there was a mess-up on the set and a new one will be reissued. The first color episode was included and not the first b&w.

Seems there's been a screw-up involving atleast one of the episodes - a very important one.. The bonus episode which was supposed to be the 1968 premiere episode in B&W is in fact the first COLOR episode, from 1969...

The openings and closings are also ALL screwed up. I won't be buying this set until they've fixed all the problems. I hope Fred haunts the people who put this set together, they should be ashamed.
