I just watched this segment again and was doing some research...anyways, this article came up, below is the link and here is a snippet. The age seems to match up at the time, as this was 1995:
Peaches struck
her second deal at 10:30 a.m. At 10:31 a.m., 69-year-old Philippe Pelletier, of
647 165th St. in Hammond, was arrested for patronizing a prostitute.
Bond for the charge, a misdemeanor, is $500 cash for an Indiana resident and
$1,000 for out-of-staters. Pelletier joined Sims in the paddy wagon.

Always hated the cops for doing this stuff-just a pathetic piece of grandstanding to increase arrest figures & pretend they are getting criminals off the street, when really all they are doing is dressing up an attractive female cop or two as hookers & having them approach guys for business.

Yep. And when it's a big name *cough* Eliot Spitzer *cough* they just say "Oh, I have a problem," and resign as governor. And then they get a tv show.
But all those guys he put away...nah, they didn't have a problem. They were criminals.

Even still, what else would he have been doing...asking her for directions or something? I was just surprised when I came across the article, because he seemed so sincere and low-key, and was married (not that that matters when people visit prostitutes.)

I guess even the people on UM Lost Love segments are human too.

Yep. These types of “sting” operations are pure entrapment. Total baby back BS.
