(Ralph & Ed are looking at a book of all the current and past members of the Raccoon Lodge.)
Ed: "Hey Ralph, in the beginning of the book, it says that there as of 2018, there have been no black Raccoons."
Ralph: "Well, I heard that there is a person in this building who is black. Rumor has it that he wants to be a Raccoon. That's groundbreaking."
Ed: "Who is this Rumor guy? What's Rumor's last name?"
(Ralph rolls his eyes.)
Ralph: "There is no person named Rumor you stupe. When you hear speculation, that means you hear a rumor."
Ed: "Oh."
Ralph: "I said this before and I will say it again. Martin Luther King Jr. was a great man. He was one of the people who was responsible for the end of segregation. Before that, there were black libraries where whites couldn't enter and vice-versa."
Ed: "Too bad that he got killed. He could have been a great president. He might have beaten Barack to the punch by being the first black president."
Ralph: "He would certainly be better than the guy we have now."
Ed: "Wow! Just think Ralph. A black Raccoon. I want to be there to see him join and film it so I can put it on YouTube."
Ralph: "That would be great."
Ed: "Hopefully, I won't forget to press record like you did when you wanted to film the Christmas tree lighting..."
Ralph (yells): "ALL RIGHT! ALL RIGHT!"
Ed: "Speaking of blacks, has there ever been a black bus driver for the Gotham Bus Company?"
Ralph: "Well, not that I am aware of. But, there is one guy who is coming on board tomorrow who is black and it is going to be groundbreaking. I want to see the him get hired. Boy. I am telling you, we can all thank Martin Luther King for the end of segregation. The world is a better place because of him. It's people like him that made this world great."
(They both sing a song about the end of segregation.)
(Jackie walks on stage. Crowd cheers.)
Jackie: "Thank you. GOOD NIGHT!"
(Crowd cheers.)
