In the 90's a cartoon named Widget The World Watcher made it's debut and featured a space alien named Widget going on adventures in the world with a unique style of his own. I wouldnt call it one of the most popular cartoons ever. Not many people rememeber it. The series did air in syndication for 3 seasons from 1990-92 with 65 episodes total. There were also two video games one for NES and SNES. It was created by Zodiac Entertainment who also found success with the Mr. Bogus animated series (based off of a Belgian comic book character) and the lesser known Twinkle the Dream Being.
