I saw it during 2 different episodes of Night Court today. So for all you Antenna TV haters who say LAFF is better because of uncrunched credits, that no longer applies. And while I like Night Court and have gotten into Grace Under Fire some, I still would gladly give it back for Antenna. I was so looking forward to their January schedule with Benson, Head of the Class, Murphy Brown, Coach, and much more. Most variety they have had and the Norman Lear shows are finally almost gone.

And Antenna plays the full themes to The Hogan Family and Growing Pains, so they get credit for that in my book as well as airing the full length Soap episodes.

Just great. Now I can’t watch Night Court on TV anymore.

Good thing I have the complete series on my computer now, so can watch that whenever I want to.

Are other shows doing this?

Are other shows doing this? When did this start to happen?I saw it for the first time today on Night Court. Grace Under Fire is uncrunched but it doesn't really have much credits, is like Sabrina the Teenage Witch at the end. I don't watch any of the other LAFF shows besides Dog Town USA (one of their E/I shows).

Shame about NC. Good thing I have all of the episodes stored on my PC though.

LAFF is credit crunching where the show has a theme song over the closing credits. But they leave the credits untouched when they run over a final scene, as opposed to a theme song.

Like Night Court for instance.

I hope this doesn’t mean Bounce crunches credits too but they probably are since they are owned by the same people as Laff. At least I still have Me and Decades. I hope they never crunch.

How bad are the Laff crunches? Do they completely mute the theme music or can you still hear it?

Bounce started doing it already. I noticed it within the last month or so...it's similar to the one Antenna TV has, where they play the opening of the next show.

I hate that the subchannels are getting into this trend. That was one of a few reasons I didn't miss cable. Oh well.

Yes I just turned on Bounce and saw the split screen credits on the Cosby Show. At least I have that one on DVD. I will no longer watch either of those channels and I will sound my voice on their Facebook pages. I guess it’s now only Me and Decades for me.
