As we all know here, 2 years ago last Saturday, Pat Harrington, Jr. passed away at age 86 after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease.

That being said, I'm curious about his role on "One Day at a Time" as Schneider: first off, did Harrington actually grow a mustache for the role, or was it fake, and secondly, was the tattoo Harrington had on the show authentic? I'd love to hear the answer to both questions. Thanks in advance.

Good thread topic!! ;) I saw Pat and his wife on Tattletales on Buzz R channel not too long ago! It was before he played Schneider! Not positive? I'm trying to remember ? ,but I don't think he had the mustache? And the tat, I have no idea? :confused:
