I laughed out loud when Beaver talks about wearing Larry’s sneakers for field day because he forgot his. Wally said he just flopped down the track. Beaver only participated to be with the guys. Beaver says “I don’t think Larry’s sneakers are used to winning.”

Yeah I'd forgotten that line. It was a good one.

I noticed Lurene Tuttle called Ward from the adoption agency. Did Beaver give his last name to them? I just remember him saying Theodore.

I wondered how she could know his last name unless he told her. Just like the bank teller in Lost Watch when he wanted to ‘deem the bond and the librarian in Library Book. I guess there was only one Cleaver (Cleager) family in Mayfield.
