When singer Pink made her debut with her album Can't Take Me Home in 1999 and scored hits with the songs There You Go and Most Girls it seemed that Pink was destined to be a huge star in R&B music but then when her second album it appeared that the R&B sound that made Pink famous was gone and when the song Get The Party Started was released the song had a little trace of R&B music but the rest of the album had a rock sound and so I think when Pink made her second album they wanted to point her to a new rock star image. But when her third album Try This came out you could tell that Pink's new rock star image was really successful for her. Is this because Pink wants to become a role model for today's rock stars? Or is it because Pink hopes that her image will attract fans to attend more of her concerts? I do wish Pink would return to R&B music because she had become a star and had more fans that liked her R&B sound
Has this rock star image worked wonders for Pink?
