Yes, she was. I guess some people don't age as gracefully as others.

We should give Kate as pass because she had open heart surgery and 2 bouts with breast cancer. Those cancer treatments are archaic and wreck havoc on the human body.

I also read that Kate was addicted to pain meds for a while, although I'm not sure if that's true or not. Maybe she'll discuss this in her book... whenever that comes out! :rolleyes:
