Chances are probably pretty good that you looked at that list and thought, Buffy? Angel? Firefly? Serenity? What the **** are they doing here!? Well, the law-firm in Angel represented a company called 'Weyland-Yutani' at one point. I was willing to write this off as a bit of a joke since Joss Whedon was writing Alien: Resurrection around the time, but then in Firefly, they actually use a Weyland-Yutani anti-aircraft gun, and again in Serenity.
Before all that happened, Blade Runner tied into Soldier, which then tied into Aliens, which then tied into Predators, and bear in mind that there's also Prometheus 2, Blade Runner 2 and another Alien and Predator movie coming out soon too. This shared universe could get a whole lot bigger,
a whole lot quicker. A little 'official' clarification on the continuity would be nice though.
