Sorry, I was never into recording a bunch of reality shows. (my loss for sure) I did record several E True Hollywood Story episodes. I didn't see the one about DALLAS on your list, I think I ran across it yesterday while going through boxes. I think Mysteries & Scandals was the only other series I recorded from E! I also have some Monstervision, but looks like you already have what I have. Probably the only other "reality" type of programs I recorded years ago were Unsolved Mysteries, America's Most Wanted, and COPS. You have a great collection and probably doesn't take up the space that 3,000 plus VHS tapes do...LOL

I bought a DVD recorder in 2000, maybe 2001...just went through a few of the firsts DVDs I recorded. I have the "docu-dramas" Behind The Scenes: Three's Company and Behind The Scenes: Charlie's Angels. A few of Biography: Adam West, George Reeves, Tom Selleck, The Munsters. Several episodes of TV Land Moguls, but I didn't see anything reality show wise like you are looking for.

I did record Scare Tactics directly to DVD when it was originally broadcast, but I see you have those too. I just recalled I should have a couple of episodes of a series from NBC called I Witness Video, probably a couple of episodes of SIGHTINGS and Encounters from FOX. Those last three recorded on VHS.

Sometimes it's a bad laser on the drive reading discs. Try a different reader or buy a new drive to see before trashing them. I have cdrs from 2000 that still play. Then I had dvds/blurays that didn't play. I bought a new burner and the played again. Just saying =)

I won't throw them away, but I've tried several DVD drives, and multiple standalone machines with no luck. :(

When a homemade DVD won't play anymore (i.e. freezes and won't recover) I have found that, if you copy it (in a DVD copier machine) to a new DVD, the "bad" part or parts will be skipped and the DVD is then recovered on the new DVD. You probably only lose a few seconds of the content.

There's a software program called "copy cat" that may take mins or hours but will keep reading pieces of data on a disc that won't copy by regular windows software.

I have about 15 huge boxes full of tapes left, but I don't know when I will have time to go through those.

I know at one time I had all of season 1 and 2, but some tapes were lost in a move years ago.

I have not looked at that Real World tape.

Sorry, no list. I started recording in 1981 and stopped recording roughly around 2005, started with the Beta format and stopped while recording straight to DVD and I've never had time to compile a list.

That doesn't even count what I traded for during a 10 or 12 year span.

Something I didn't catch when I was going through the tapes, s2 EP 25 has no opening credits. Looks like I started the recording in the break after credits rolled, or the station joined the episode late, which they did from time to time.
