In this parallel cartoon universe, the Commander-in-Chief opens the White House doors for an “all access” look at a typical day in the life of the President of the United States.
Executive produced by multiple Emmy winner Stephen Colbert and his "Late Show" executive producer, Chris Licht, this hilarious new 10-episode parody will follow the tru-ish misadventures of the 45th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, and his merry band of advisors and family members.
R.J. Fried will serve as executive producer and showrunner. Tim Luecke will serve as lead animator and co-executive producer. Matt Lappin will serve as consulting producer.
Don’t miss the series premiere Sunday, February 11th 8 PM ET/PT.

Showtime Orders More Episodes of "Our Cartoon President"
by Dan Snierson
March 8, 2018
The Donald Trump cartoon show will continue. The one on Showtime, that is.
The network announced on Thursday that it had ordered seven more episodes of "Our Cartoon President". The animated series, which includes Stephen Colbert among its executive producers, will finish its 10-episode run on April 8 before returning this summer with the second part of the first season.
"Our Cartoon President" — which premiered last month and is averaging 2 million viewers per episode — brings viewers inside the White House and pokes fun at the “true-ish misadventures” of President Trump, his family members, and advisers.
The show occasionally plucks dialogue from real-life interviews with Trump and his advisers, and Colbert believes that "Our Cartoon President" is not normalizing this controversy-soaked POTUS.
“I don’t think there’s anything normal about his behavior as a cartoon,” Colbert recently told reporters at the TCA Winter Press Tour in Pasadena. “The subjects we’re picking are dark enough that reflect the stakes of truly cartoonish behavior in the actual 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.”

Show is terrible and Colbert needs to retire. Tired old re-hashed Trump jokes. I hate the guy too but this is just a miserable attempt at a jab. Even the flash animation sucks.

"Our Cartoon President" Renewed for Season 2 at Showtime
by Denise Petski
January 22, 2019
Showtime has ordered a second season of its half-hour animated series "Our Cartoon President", Deadline has confirmed.
Executive produced by Stephen Colbert, showrunner R.J. Fried and "Late Show" executive producer Chris Licht, "Our Cartoon President" follows what Showtime calls “the tru-ish misadventures of the 45th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, and his merry band of advisors and family members.”
The first 10 episodes of the show produced by CBS Television Studios introduced audiences to Trump’s attempts at “winning” the State of the Union address, comforting disaster victims and rolling back President Obama’s accomplishments, as well as his co-dependent relationship with the media.
Tim Luecke is lead animator and co-executive producer, and Matt Lappin serves as consulting producer.
