I am a very causal watcher of TBBT and have not really seen an episode in about two seasons, but I am familiar with most of the episodes before like Season 7 or eight. The show to me has just ran its course.

I do however love Young Sheldon. I'm from the South (not from Texas, thank God, but close enough) and they really got the family dynamic and talk down well. Last episode where Sheldon's mom and grandmother (played by the wonderful Annie Potts) where the two are having an argument, they stop for a second, and Potts' character tells the daughter "You're hair looks purty (pretty).", to defuse the argument. That's Southern.

Have we seen Sheldon's older brother or twin sister yet? Wouldn't Sheldon have nieces and nephews?

Here's a clip from the episode where Sheldon's sister shows up.

His twin sister Missy is the only one they've shown all grown up yet. I'm not sure if we'll ever see his older brother George Jr on this or not.

He does have a nephew I think. I can't 100% confirm that Missy had a boy or girl. I know in one episode he did go back to Texas for the birth. I really doubt we'll see 'em though. Especially with the current storylines going.
