CBS Plans Elton John Grammy Tribute Concert for 2018

CBS, the Recording Academy and AEG Ehrlich Ventures will present Elton John: I’m Still Standing – A Grammy Salute at New York’s Theater at Madison Square Garden January 30 for broadcast later in 2018.
The concert will be staged Tuesday, Jan. 30, at 8:00 PM ET, two days after the 60th annual Grammy Awards are broadcast live from Madison Square Garden on Sunday, Jan. 28.
The all-star tribute concert line-up will include Miley Cyrus, Ke$ha, Miranda Lambert, John Legend, Little Big Town, Chris Martin, Sam Smith and Keith Urban, with additional performers to be announced.
John will also perform at the concert, playing a selection of hits from throughout his career.
“Sir Elton John is an international music legend who has captivated audiences across generations for more than five decades,” said Neil Portnow, President/CEO of the Recording Academy.
“His creativity, dynamic presence and melodic virtuosity have positioned him as a cultural icon, and the Recording Academy is pleased to honor his immeasurable contributions to the music community.”
