I thought the fan art episode at the beginning of this season (8-1) was very clever. If you haven't seen it, it's an episode where fans of the show who have art or animation experience were given a chance to illustrate part of the episode. Dozens of artists were used, with segments lasting from just a few seconds up to a minute. Viewers might find it distracting but I thought it was very clever and I was amazed by all of the different artistic styles that were used to draw the characters. It's hard to choose a favorite but the one I found the most intriguing was the one where the people are all tall and extremely skinny, in the scene where people are waiting outside the Italian restaurant across from Bob's.
