In 1989 MTV launched their first game show called MTV's Remote Control which featured three contestants trying to test their TV knowledge on questions related to TV with questions about sitcoms cartoons TV stars and more. At the end of the third round the contestant with the lowest score was sent home with a fun yet awesome farewell while the winning contestant got to play a bonus round called The Think Real Fast Round in which the contestant had to match questions to answers in a fast paced time limit and if he/she matched the answers correctly he/she was the winner. Who knew that the late Ken Ober would later become a star hosting a revival of the comedy game show Make Me Laugh that was a hit for Comedy Central. MTV's Remote Control was also best known for having a giant Pez dispenser of Bob Eubanks in it's show set and there was even a Nintendo game of MTV's Remote Control as well. It's a shame that reruns of MTV's Remote Control haven't been seen anymore because MTV should try to revive Remote Control in the future because it was a fun game show to watch and MTV should return to making great game shows again
