I hear that. After all these years, I'm still trying to wrap my head around why he did what he did. It makes no sense. He had nothing to gain by doing this.

Jerry Strickland would have to be up there as well, he could have just robbed that place with a hood on & taken the money. Having abducted the guy & 'abducted' Missy it was obvious who was going to have done the job, so there was zero point in shooting the guy dead as it went from a robbery charge to murder. Then again he had raped & nearly stabbed to death his sister-in-law.

He is a perfect pick to be #1 on the list. I've said this before, but you have to read, 'A Beautiful Child,' to truly understand how evil this man is.

The big WHAT IF in regards to him - Had he been properly punished for abducting a 4 year old girl in 1962 and brutally raping her, and I'm not kidding when I say that because he actually did that - so many things would have been different.

If he's not paroled after just a few years, he never would have had the chance to abduct Suzanne and "raise" her in his house of horrors and he never would been around to commit the murders, tortures, abductions and attacks that he held over the people he came in contact with.

I don't know if the law was easier on criminals who committed child rape in the 1960's or what. But this man never should have been outside a prison cell after 1962.

Me too. He was the first person to jump to mind, and I'm surprised more people haven't mentioned him. I've seen people who showed no remorse for their crimes on UM, but he took the cake as he was outright prideful of his crimes.

Ida Prewitt too struck me as just a horrible person. To come on TV after murdering someone and going on and on about she was "just a griping and a bitching" was shocking to me.

I think my last one would be the perpetrator of the ATV murders. It takes a special kind of evil to kill three people for something as minor as trespassing (if they were in fact trespassing).

If you know ANYTHING about the Brad Bishop case he'd have to be your #1 Hell bound guy from UM.

The reason why she ranks so high on my list is that IIRC, their son Jonathan beat Gilbert severely some time after they were reunited; to me it's crystal clear she made him the enemy and must have told Jonathan awful things about Gilbert in order for Jonathan to do that after they were reunited.

That's getting punished twice...and Gilbert didn't deserve that.

The whole situation is depressing as hell. Elizabeth took off with Jonathan when he was just 2 years old. So she was the only parent he ever really knew and loved. When she was arrested, it completely destroyed him. Elizabeth has nobody to blame but herself for the downward spiral her son's life has taken.

What I'd really like to know is what made her finally get released from prison? Why was parole denied after 8 years and 14 years but we think you've learned your lesson after 16 years?
