The year was 1991 and Nickelodeon had a very successful plan for creating their own cartoon block and would attract a more popular audience thus the Nicktoons block was born. Debuting with Doug Rugrats and another cartoon Nickelodeon knew that they would hit the jackpot with cartoons. While Doug became a huge hit and made creator Jim Jenkins a star for Disney movies and cartoons it was Rugrats that proved to be the most popular of the Nicktoons block. While cartoons like !Ahhh! Real Monsters Hey Arnold and As Told By Ginger The Wild Thornberries and Invader Zim Chalk Zone and Pelswick were later added to the Nicktoons block Nickelodeon proved that they had the power for success but after success with Rocket Power it wasn't since Rugrats that Spongebob Squarepants would become a huge smash cartoon for Nickelodeon and be the most successful cartoon of the Nicktoons block. Would it be neat if Nickelodeon were to relaunch the Nicktoons block with all new cartoons and a new version of the awesome intro and theme song?

Hi, Bestie! I agree with you that Nick should revamp some of its old cartoons and show them again. Loonry Toons did the same thing and it was a hit. I hope someone at Nick hears you!

Ren and Stimpy was the most popular nicktoon before it was moved to SNICK. Then maybe Doug or Rugrats took the top nicktoon spot.

I remember the Nicktoons Block during the 90s and the intro was very awesome though.

The intro was great! I remember this. Wish they would do something like this again.
Would definitely compile list of intros from yesteryear on a website builder like this one: Create a free website - hPage.com (https://www.hpage.com)
