Estelle Parsons and Sandra Bernhard Returning for "Roseanne" Revival

TVLine can confirm exclusively that Estelle Parsons is set to reprise her role as Roseanne and Jackie’s late-in-life-lesbian mom Beverly Harris in ABC’s forthcoming revival.

What’s more, Sandra Bernhard is also headed back to Lanford as Roseanne and Jackie’s lesbian pal Nancy Bartlett.



According to sources, the 90-year-old Parsons is set to appear in two of the revival’s nine episodes, while Bernhard will show up in just one.

A premiere date is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

Wow, this thing's really gaining some momentum. It would be nice to see Natalie West (Crystal) also make an appearance seeing as she was one of the original characters.

According to ABC’s press release from this week, Natalie West will indeed appear. So will Adilah Barnes (Anne Marie) (Chuck was already announced as returning earlier). No word on Bonnie Sheridan.

Also: Bev is not a lesbian in the revival, since that happened in season 9 and that’s being wiped away. In one of the new episodes, 90-year-old Bev is a “cradle robber”, dating a 70 year old at her retirement home.
